Dr. Sebastian Lattuga and his associates provide traditional and minimally invasive surgery, as well as nonsurgical management for a wide range of issues, such as spinal stenosis, herniated disks, and degenerative disk disease. Over the course of his career, Dr. Sebastian has personally achieved successful results for thousands of patients. Beyond his current practice at New York Spinal Specialists, Dr. Lattuga also serves as Chief of the Spine Surgery Division at Franklin Hospital, part of the Northshore-LIJ Health System. Previously, he served as an Attending Spine Surgeon at Day-Op Center of Long Island. Actively involved in his profession, Dr. Sebastian Lattuga maintains affiliations with organizations such as the North American Spine Society, the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY), the Nassau County Medical Society, the Suffolk County Medical Society, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Lattuga attended St. John’s University and completed his Doctor of Medicine at the Stony Brook University Medical Center School of Medicine. With extensive postdoctoral training, he completed a research fellowship and an internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He subsequently fulfilled a residency in orthopedic surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center and an adult and pediatric spine fellowship at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida.
